Guess who got her pool patch?

Myriam passed her pool test last week and she has been doing flips and belly flops off the diving board non stop.  At the beginning of the summer I thought I might have a friend teach her to swim, but it turns out I didn’t have to!  Myriam was very motivated to improve, especially watching her sister have so much fun on swim team.  She practiced on her own most of the time (in the shallow end) and then Therese did her own little training program with her (aren’t big sisters the best?)   I didn’t know if she was ready for the test, but Therese kept telling me she could do it and Myriam said she wanted to try.  Well, they were right and she passed with flying colors!  She swam the width of the pool twice and then she tread water for a full minute.  Myriam is already talking about swim team next year- it looks like we will have two little tigers in the house.  Way to go, Myriam!
