Our home is a little emptier after having Ana with us for seven weeks. We said good-bye to her last Thursday and already we have noticed the gap in our lives. Therese missed her board game partner, Myriam yearns for the extra popsicles Ana would give her and Brendan misses his seat buddy in the van. The girls have already planned a trip to Spain to visit Ana. I am not sure they fully realize it might be a long time before they make it to Pamplona, but it is fun to hear them dream. We were blessed by Ana’s gentle presence and calming influence on our family. We wish Ana all the best as she begins her time at the University of Navarre in Pamplona this fall!
