Karen and Anthony
I know, I know.. this post is a little late. Karen celebrated with friends on her ACTUAL birthday (we were out of town), the 20th of September. She and Anthony came over for dinner the following Thursday.
Dearest Aunt Karen, we love you so! You have brightened our life in so many ways. You keep me grounded and help me feel close to the rest of our family who are scattered throughout the country (and sometimes the world). It is such a gift to have an aunt to lavish love and affection on our children and provide them with a strong and sensitive role model. You are extremely selfless and have given up many evenings to be with our children so that Tim and I can have time together as a couple. You have laughed with us, cried with us and offered advice on all fronts. Our conversations help me understand myself better and appreciate the great gift of the family I grew up in. Dear, sweet Karen, be assured of our love and prayers. Happy Birthday to an amazing sister, a wonderful sister-in-law and a fun loving aunt!
