The Ferry's, Fr. Chris and The McGoverns

We welcomed our Godson into the Church yesterday.  What a beautiful day and a beautiful baby!  We are so blessed by our friendship with the lovely Ferry family and we are honored to be such special part of their son’s life.  We are praying for you, little Nathaniel!

Gorgeous Saints

The girls wanted to dress as saints for Halloween this year.  We had so much fun putting together these costumes!  We went trick or treating with friends in a neighborhood not too far from ours.  Despite the rainy evening, the kids enjoyed themselves and came home with a pretty good haul!

Myriam in her new (and renewly re-painted) room

01 Nov

Our basement tenant moved out at the end of September and we decided it was time to grow into that space. So we’ve taken everything out of the den and moved it to the basement. The den was then re-painted and it’s hardwood floors exposed (as seen below) and will now be the girls bedroom.

Brendan will be moving into what was the girls’ room.

We’ve managed to do all the work without hiring any help (so far) which is a first. i should note that Therese’s god father, Jeremy, was kind enough to pitch in a few weekends ago and that was a big help.

I’m now working on getting the door hung. Correctly, this time. Our inital pass did not taken into consideration that the door jam wasn’t perfectly square. No worries, though. Let’s just say it’s not the only thing we’ve had to do more than once on this project.
